John Simpson sang in the choir at Addiscombe. There was a quiz after circle and unfortunately the wives were not told that they would not witness the enrolment. This was definitely a mistake!
James Dobbs was a much loved brother and at his funeral at West Norwood his cloth cap was on the coffin! Wendy Dobbs attended several functions.
I sang again at clergy supper. Our guests were David and Susanna Martin of St John's Upper Norwood. I was determined to make the event ecumenical!
